Ontario Child Advocate

Hello, and welcome to the new Ontario Child Advocate website!

As an independent office of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, our office partners with young people to amplify their voices, ensure that they are heard and promote action on their issues. Our new website contains information about the many ways in which we work to make this happen.

You may notice our name – the Ontario Child Advocate – and our new logo, which is meant to honour and represent the rich diversity of our province, throughout the new website. There are many versions of our logo that we have created, each including many of the 25 most commonly spoken languages in Ontario. While we will now refer to ourselves as the Ontario Child Advocate, we will use our formal name, the Office of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth, when appropriate.

Our website is designed to provide us with a platform to create and develop new ways of amplifying the voices of children and youth. We will in years to come find new ways of connecting and partnering with children, youth and their natural advocates through the virtual world. We are excited about the possibilities it presents and we invite you to join us on this journey.

We hope you like our new look and feel and find our website informative and useful.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please get in touch.
